Luitgard Spögler graduated with honors in Law from the University of Bologna (1985). She is member of the Rome Bar Association. From 1991 to 2007 she worked for the Bank of Italy, holding positions with European Institutions (member of expert groups of CESR, now ESMA; as national expert responsible for the “UCITS III” directive project in the European Commission); from 2011 to 2014 she represented an international asset manager within Borsa Italiana’s Corporate Governance Committee; currently she is chairperson of a listed bank active in the factoring market and board member of other companies.
